Etagreen group was founded with the vision of promoting sustainability practices in the palm oil industry. Our showcase waste management-cum-biomass power plant today removes more than 700,000 tonnes of greenhouse gases a year, equivalent to about 0.7% of Malaysia’s non-energy emissions. Etagreen group aims to be the leading sustainability services company for the palm oil industry through technology and innovation.

Etagreen is one of the pioneers in Green Environmental Regeneration.
With growing environmental consciousness, high petroleum prices and depleting fossil fuels, palm biomass such as empty fruit bunches (EFB) can be burnt in tandem with coal in existing coal fired generating plants to produce green electricity. So, while EFB is in surplus, it is also a legitimate fuel.
Commercially, there may not be much blended fuel usage, but there is an increasing trend in more and more developed countries.
